Snovalley Pride invites you to our third annual FLICKER Queer Film Fest, a celebration of queer voices, creativity, and the stories that help us feel less alone.
When queer people share their lives and perspectives, we create opportunities to see ourselves in one another. A moment on screen can bring comfort, spark understanding, or remind us that someone else knows what it feels like. Together, these stories make room for healing, visibility, and connection.
This year, we’re gathering for two special sessions:
Queer Short Films | 2–4pm
Explore a curated collection of powerful queer short films, each offering a window into a different life, experience, and way of seeing the world.
Evening Screening | Heightened Scrutiny
Join us for Sam Feder’s powerful documentary Heightened Scrutiny, which follows transgender attorney Chase Strangio’s fight to protect gender affirming care for trans youth while exposing how media misinformation shapes the struggle for trans rights.
Following the screening, members of the cast will join us for a special Q&A, sharing a look behind the scenes and opening space for connection and conversation about the film.
Come share in the beauty and power of queer storytelling. Bring a friend, meet a neighbor, and experience how art can help us feel seen and connected.
We are deeply grateful to our friends at 4Culture, whose grant support makes both sessions free to the public.
Films are appropriate for older teens and adults.
