We are thrilled to welcome Stephanie Anne Johnson back to our Pride Picnic! Stephanie is that special singer who can don a cowboy hat and sing over a slide as old timers weep, and they have wowed judges on the immensely popular NBC TV series, The Voice, showcasing their gifts. Their music, which is rooted in all that’s American, expresses the pain of the past, the roots of the down home and the hope that hard work will lead to proper reward.

Stephanie Anne Johnson has opened for acts that include political figure Bernie Sanders, and artists such as Macy Gray, Mavis Staples, Robert Cray, The Blind Boys of Alabama, Durand Jones, Joseph, Cedric Burnside, and Black Joe Lewis.

“As a blind person, I’ve never had an actual visual experience,” says artist Brittany Davis. “Sound is the way I’ve always seen my world.”

Brittany Davis is a blind artist who “sees” the world through sound. Their debut solo album Image Issues (Loosegroove Records, 3.1.24) showcases their extraordinary range as a vocalist, songwriter, engineer, co-producer, and multi-instrumentalist. Praised by NPR and SPIN for their intuitive artistry, Davis blends rock, funk, gospel, hip-hop, house, and more into a genre-defying sound. From their Tiny Desk debut to this cinematic release, Brittany creates music as expansive and original as they are.

Elizabeth Hill is a queer musician and visual artist who lives in the Snoqualmie Valley at Lake Joy. She most typically plays banjo and often plays with others in a band called Elizabeth Hill & the Valley Folk. We play both traditional and original Americana music with an Appalachian Mountain root and often spice those tunes with sounds from other musical genres including bluegrass, blues, country and jazz.

At the Picnic, Elizabeth will be joined by Cole Homan on guitar, Wayne Pair on bass, and Carson Cox!

Our Pride Picnic features free art booths where you can create beautiful, personal keepsakes to remember our special day together.
