Our Impact

A Little Spark Can Create a Lot of Light

What began as a simple idea to create more connection and visibility for the 2SLGBTQ+ community has grown into something pretty incredible.

Together, we are creating spaces where people can gather, make friends, experience queer art and culture, find support and feel proud to call the Snoqualmie Valley home.

And we’re just getting started!

Creating Lasting Change

Our work goes far beyond Pride celebrations.

Throughout the year, we create opportunities for connection, creativity, healing, learning and joy for people of all ages. From large community celebrations to small circles and creative gatherings, every program begins with the same question: How can we help someone feel like they belong here?

The Impact In Action

What We’re Building Together

GREATER BELONGING

We create welcoming spaces where 2SLGBTQ+ people and families can find one another, build friendships and feel more connected to the place they call home.

MORE OPPORTUNITIES FOR QUEER ARTISTS

Art is woven throughout our work. By hiring musicians, performers, filmmakers, writers and other creatives, we create opportunities for 2SLGBTQ+ stories and voices to be seen, heard and celebrated.

A STRONGER COMMUNITY

Our events and programs bring together people of different generations, backgrounds and identities while creating opportunities for neighbors to know and care for one another.

A MORE WELCOMING VALLEY

Through partnerships, education, joyful visibility and community connection, we are helping build a Snoqualmie Valley where kindness, respect and belonging can grow.

For a long time, we thought there were only a few of us here. Snovalley Pride has shown us how much community surrounds us. As an older lesbian couple, being able to hold hands, meet new friends, and feel welcome in our rural town means so much. We’ve seen how far we’ve come, and gatherings like this remind us that we belong.
